Textile Blend Guide - Care and Use

A mixed fabric pillowcase can be made of different materials such as cotton, silk, cashmere and polyester. Each material has its own care requirements that you should consider to ensure your pillowcase lasts and stays in good condition.

care and application

Before using your pillowcase, we recommend washing it to remove dust and dirt. Check the care label to ensure the pillowcase is machine washable. If not, you should hand wash it.

cleaning

When you wash the pillowcase, use a gentle cycle and a maximum water temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach and fabric softeners. These can damage the material and fade its color.

Shake the pillowcase well to remove wrinkles before hanging to dry. Avoid direct sunlight as this can fade the material. Dry the pillowcase at room temperature to ensure it dries evenly.

More information

  • Avoid exposing your pillowcase to direct sunlight or heat for long periods of time as this can damage the material and cause its color to fade.

  • If you have stains on your pillowcase, try to remove them as soon as possible. Use a mild detergent and gently blot the stain rather than rubbing.

  • If your pillowcase is made of cashmere, use a special cashmere wash cycle and cashmere detergent to protect the material.

  • If your pillowcase is silk, hand wash it with a mild detergent.

  • If your pillowcase is made of polyester, use a gentle cycle and a maximum water temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners.

By following these care instructions, you can ensure that your mixed fabric pillowcase will last and stay in good condition.
