Textile Mixture Guide - Care and Application

A textile blend pillowcase can be made of different materials such as cotton, silk, cashmere and polyester. Each material has its own care requirements that you should consider to ensure your pillowcase lasts and stays in good condition.

Care and application

Before using your pillowcase, we recommend you wash it to remove dust and dirt. Check the care label to ensure the pillowcase is machine washable. If not, you should wash it by hand.

cleaning

When washing the pillowcase, use a gentle cycle and a maximum water temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach and fabric softeners. These can damage the material and fade its color.

Shake the pillowcase well to remove wrinkles before hanging it to dry. Avoid direct sunlight as this can cause the material to fade. Dry the pillowcase at room temperature to ensure it dries evenly.

More information

  • Avoid exposing your pillowcase to direct sunlight or heat for long periods of time as this can damage the material and cause its color to fade.

  • If you have stains on your pillowcase, try to remove them as quickly as possible. Use a mild detergent and gently blot the stain instead of rubbing it.

  • If your pillowcase is made of cashmere, use a special cashmere wash cycle and special cashmere detergent to protect the material.

  • If your pillowcase is made of silk, hand wash it and use a mild detergent.

  • If your pillowcase is made of polyester, use a gentle cycle and a maximum water temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners.

By following these care instructions, you can ensure that your fabric blend pillowcase lasts a long time and stays in good condition.
